Change is constant.
October 4, 2007 – 9:32 pmDear intrepid reader,
This site is new, and like all things new it will take a short time to stabilize. This means you may see a few changes in the site’s design and layout over the next few days, till we reach the initial “identity” that we want to create. Please don’t adjust your monitors ![]()
One Response to “Change is constant.”
No my dear, say not “change is constant” but instead say “Change is the only constant”.
And who better then us indians to know this simple fact, and to appreciate it too… for decades our politicians, governments, corporates, educational institutions, public sector companies and many more have been trying their level best to stop the change happening world over. to prevent it from coming to india, lest it should corrupt our holy civilization…
But guess what you can not stop the strong winds of change. you can only halt them for sometime, maybe decrease their speed, maybe change their course a bit, but you have to give in to the winds of change (as a popular rock band sang decades ago)
Our educational institutes dont want to change their selection criteria, style and syllabus to suit the current world and industry.
Our companies dont want to change their method of hiring people, they want even geniuses to get a Masters before they consider hiring him..
Our governments, they consider it blasphemous to change anything, instead they will keep throwing more money at highly inefficient systems (many PSU companies, PDS and ration card system, recruitment and promotion policy etc.)
And our politicians dont want to even think of change… “gandhi naam amar rahe” … long live the yadavs/ gowdas/ reddys/ communists.
Yet, change happens. Slowly, grudgingly, tentatively it creeps in… that’s the nature of change… its futile to prevent it from happening. You will invite disaster and suffering if you prevent a change for good from taking place… it will eventually happen but by then the impact of the change is lost. Its just any other small time progress.
Embrace the change for good, and see what good it does to you.
