As Sir. M. Visvesvarayya stared at the mighty Shivanasamudra falls awestruck and owewhelmed, people were convinced that the beauty of the falls had mesmerized him.

“What a waste of energy!”, were his next few words. It took a while for others to understand, but he already knew what he was going to do. He went ahead and built the first hydro-electric power station in all of Asia at Shivanasamudram.

Kids, similarly, are a waterfall of energy. Playing keeps them healthy and happy. This is how they spend most of their energy. Many people are working to put this energy to good use.
